About Cougars

Cougars Lacrosse were formed in the Summer of 2006, a mere 10 years after the first game of Lacrosse was played in Gloucestershire by a then hastily put together team of an eager group of amateur players from the then College of Higher Education based at the Park Campus in Cheltenham.

The Cheltenham Cougars have two main Teams, Men's and Women's, but are also on the verge of creating a Junior Development Team in the county, which should see the game of Lacrosse really take off big in Gloucestershire.

So far this season within the West league, the Men's Team have been finding it hard to find form, and find themselves in mid table, but still looking strong for the title this year.

The Women's team are also now in the SouthWest league and will be in action with many games and tournaments scheduled for this season.
